Wrong MrGordon. You forget what Christ himself said.

In Matthew we read:

17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

First note they worship him (a man?!) and then he says he will be with his group of believers to the end of time. On your teaching he lied, he abandoned them for well over 1000 years. If he did not abandon them tell me the group he was with for the last 2000 years.

Just one other thing I would add is that faith is a gift from God so one day I hope and pray you receive it.
