Ah ha, Ive wanted to ask this for ages and now seems like the right time.
An old timer that I know told me he knows where Lasseters reef is and he showed me on the map, What I want to know is how you find out if there are any explorers/mines in the area.
If you get a map of the NT/WA and find a place on the NT border now called Kintore and then head NW you should see a big lake called Lake Mcdonnald, appparently the reef runs south to north near the eastern side of the lake and is now covered in about 40 feet of sand.
