The 62% effective oxford vaccine, as noted in the lancet link below for standard dose/standard dose, has been approved by the TGA for use in Australia.

Not approved in the US or Canada, awaiting further trials
    Switzerland, declined approval
    South Africa, declined approval
Multiple European countries, no for >65 years

The TGA said about the >65 years age group "there were an insufficient number of participants infected by COVID-19 to conclusively determine the efficacy in this subgroup," and "In this sub-population, efficacy has been inferred from immunogenicity data and efficacy demonstrated in the general population.".

Basing approval on an inference? Perhaps we could get advice from homeopaths / osteopaths / acupuncturists / herbalists / astrologers, and then make further inferences.

Morrison, in the channel 9 piece link below, says "That vaccine is safe for your children to take". But not his children, like him they are getting the 95% effective Pfizer.
