I wonder if the President of Burundi is capable of negating this action by these ministers. He sacked one minister a few weeks ago. I know that he is keen for international investment, from his past statements. Could be the company is appealing this up the line, and as a bargaining chip, they are threatening litigation that clearly states that this will stop foreign investment in Burundi and a very long delay in development of Musongati?

I would assume also that this will stop any other company from getting its hands on Musongati, as they could be added to the case.
