If you answer no, then take the loss and put the money in a bank account. Chat with your accountant, you should be able to apply the capital loss against a capital gain or against income tax.

If you answer yes. Seriously look at your portfolio. How much is it worth if you sell it now, let that amount be $X. If you had $X in the bank, would you buy the same portfolio again?

If yes, leave the money in the shares.

If no, take the loss, sell the offending shares, set your trading plan and go again.

Only put in the sharemarket what you can afford to lose. Don't buy shares trending down.

Do not make decisions based on chatter on a forum.

Avoid stocks that are the most discussed on HC.
