    re: coup attempt latest news I dont think this is going to effect contracts. Infact it seems its exactly Why it has happened. They want the cash that is about to start coming in.

    Seems we may get another chance to top up after all.

    1321 GMT [Dow Jones]--If current unrest in Mauritania results in a coup d'etat, "short-term instability" might have an impact on oil and gas companies' operations there, says Control Risks analyst Sarah Meyers. BG Group PLC (BRG), Sterling Resources PLC (SEY.LN) and Premier Oil PLC (PMO.LN) have significant assets in country. BG says it's monitoring the situation, Sterling and Premier not available to comment. Sterling's shares, -6.2% at 18.8 pence, BG, +1.5% at 488p, Premier Oil, +1.2% at 735p. (BXF) :
