We've got an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join us in our Melbourne Office, and work with our global team.

The Position

• In any given week you will
  
  
• Reconcile bank accounts, clearing outstanding items where applicable
• Settlements of funds to merchant accounts
• Complete monthly balance files with accurate reconciliations of all general ledger accounts
• Complete ASX, APRA, ASIC and AUSTRAC regulatory returns on a as required, quarterly and annual basis
• Assist in the internal and external audit process

  We’re Interested In Hearing From People Who have
  
  
• a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline e.g. business, accounting, banking and payments
• completed of CA or CPA or currently progressing towards
• 2-3+ years' accounting experience
• strong attention to detail
• exposure to tax law and understanding of the financial services industry
• exposure to and use of a relevant accounting system
• the ability to meet deadlines and objectives in a busy, commercial environment
• FX exposure
• ASX reporting experience
• highly analytical skills and can demonstrate an organised approach to their work;
• a proven ability to work under pressure;
• excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with multiple business units, internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong Excel skills
• Finance company or Banking experience are preferable
