We are a Central Bank of Cyprus regulated eMoney Institution, offering our unique identity verification, eMoney and payment services to the FX, Gaming, Wagering, Casino, and Banking sectors.
Our office in Nicosia, Cyprus is seeking talented sysadmins or devops, with exposure to Linux, and preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS), to assist with our growth. There are two types of roles available, and we encourage Admins with more than 4 years hands on experience to apply for the role that they are best suited to.
Linux - SysAdmin or Cloud System Admin
As a SysAdmin Engineer located in our Nicosia office, you will be part of the team that supports and maintains the iSignthis platform. Our platform has been designed inhouse, and is based upon our own patented technology.
Our cloud based technology is hosted at AWS, with our services required to be certified and maintained to the fintech PCI DSS standard and ISO27001 to EU GDPR / Cyprus DPA requirements.
Our SysAdmins are part of the Operations team that manages the global infrastructure, with frequent communications between our Melbourne and Nicosia offices necessary.
Linux SysAdmin Responsibilities:
Contribute to automation of server provisioning and software deployment
Manage and monitor the AWS environment.
Analyse, test, and assist with the integration of new applications
Research and documentation for new tools & systems
Contribute to solutions that aid in scalability and security
Assist with training non-technical personnel
Interact with customers in a professional capacity
Position Requirements:
Infrastructure as Code is the core of our operation. As an world leading RegTech company that implements an agile approach to development we use a wide variety of technologies in order to achieve our requirements. We are looking for someone who is Interested in learning new skills and keeping pace with changing technologies.
Role Type 1 : System Administrator
Linux administration
Mandatory: ACL, daemon, hardening, other general OS-security and maintenance
Desirable: Full automation implementation experience.
Expectations for SysAdmin
Our team members are all able to deal with a highly demanding client base and have an
ability to work independently, analyse problems and act decisively with minimal management oversight. We foster a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and reward based on commitment and outcomes. Ideally candidates will have exposure or understanding of or exposure to PCI DSS and/or ISO27001 requirements, and will have a strong grasp of security concepts. All of our technical team participate in an on call support as member of a roster based team.
