Key Accountabilities
The Business Analyst / Data Operator’s responsibilities include developing systems to assist the Treasury Department. The Business Analyst / Data Operator must have excellent VBA and Macro developing capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Develop Macros that will assist in the automation of the Reconciliation/ Billing Process
Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations per merchant
Track inbound transactions from primary database to bank statements
Work closely with the Treasury Lead and locate/define new process improvement opportunities
Provide feedback of information regarding merchant reconciliations to other departments or to management whenever needed.
Proven working experience as a business analyst or data analyst or reconciliation analyst
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Assist in queries, report writing and presenting findings
Sound knowledge of English (both written and oral)
Previous experience in banking or accounting will be considered an advantage

Key Accountabilities
As part of our team, you will be involved and responsible for designing and implementing system changes or new products according to the requirements of both our clients and our business. Development responsibilities will involve the entire software development life cycle on our systems platform.
The successful candidate will have excellent coding and debugging skills, familiarity with the entire application life cycle and a strong desire to contribute to a product that is evolving.
The major key tasks include:
Define system design by analyzing business requirements
Write or modify highly complex systems
Observe, test, debug and correct faults in software
Ensure accuracy and integrity of data for new or existing systems
Provide system support to clients
Conduct research and analysis to support solution design
Develop and produce documentation, including technical specifications, unit test scripts and API’s
Undertake project work and write relevant reports
Adhere to departmental coding conventions
Understand and incorporate best industry security standards (such as OWASP) in the design and code of software that you write
Provide guidance to developers and participate in code reviews
Conduct code reviews for changes of intermediary to high complexity
Maintain security knowledge by attending an educational security workshop at least once a year
Essential Skills
BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field
8-10+ years’ experience of hands-on software development
5+ years of current experience working real time mission critical systems
Excellent problem analysis and debugging skills
Efficiency and availability are paramount
Strong coding skills in Java, C/C++, or C#
Proven leadership ability
Excellent communication skills
Fluent written and spoken English
Desirable Skills
Development work in payment system environments, database design and SQL, knowledge of TCP/IP and network programming
Exposure to Extreme Programming Environment
