As a relative newcomer to trading I don't expect many responses if previous posts are anything to go by but a couple of things that happened today compelled me to say something.
Firstly, the post by plasmod which I thought brought a negative vibe to the stock for most of the day, and later in the day a post by t4p which seemed to trigger a recovery.
Personally, if I exited a trade, why would I feel the need to downramp it unless I wanted to buy in lower. On the other hand, if I wanted to buy in on a retrace, why would I announce how many trades (4 I believe) I wanted to close out during the day.
It feels like certain people have a lot of pyschological power on the forum, not to mention a hell of a lot more knowledge of the market (than me for sure).
I suppose if a stock meets certain criteria, a forum could be a powerful tool.
I could be reading it totally wrong on the other hand. Maybe these people are honest guys.
