I was just about to post on something similar. It appears there's a lot of effort to walk the price down to get a larger chunk at a lower price in subsequent trades. This morning's first trade was a cross of 1 share and then another 249 at $4.50 and then a buyer has been progressively upping their offer from $4.51 to $4.52 and now $4.54.
I thought the sums were too small to bother but it looks like some were happy to take the $4.52 so it's possible people are making money from the tactic. This sort of stuff was going on when the share price was around $3 but they obviously didn't get enough when they had the chance.
The regulators could investigate but they seem to give this behaviour a leave pass day in day out. I'm sure the regular trading in this manner is purely coincidental
Fortunately I'm full to overflowing on this one although seeing the daily red is mildly annoying.
