I feel where you are coming from - I was getting the gut feeling i needed to do some sort of formal education or better myself beyond how I am going which is not badly as such - I just knew it could be even better
if anything what the best mentors as such were reinforcing constantly via HC were the 2 things I lack - patience and discipline such as Rob would put it (:))
so long story short I took the plunge and just started the Wealth Within course - really it cant hurt can it ?!! I havent been doing it long enough to say whether its good or not - however I can tell it is going to be - just looking at their software in itself has shown me some things i will get to that will make me a better trader that in all honesty would probaby take me years to get to self educating such as Gann swing charts, Dow theory, EW etc as I knew I was complacent with Incredible Charts or Spark or the w/e thread or whatever and not moving forwards enough as all my time is just day trading and charting ..ideally I want to have a long term folio where I let profits run which is not easy when you have DT mindset as well as a ST riskier one and I was lacking the discpline to do both hence why I started the course
I like the fact I will be able to walk properly before i can run - I dont tend to like to read instructions just go in head first with things like putting Ikea furniture together etc ...course wont let me do that which for me is a good thing
Mentors are a tricky one espcially if you are swing trading we all know those teaching instituions dont like risky spec stocks so it depends on your trading mindset ..theres no way I could learn in a course what i read on the XJO or even some stuff in w/e charting but I might learn some basics that seem so basic they dont get covered as too obvious who knows??
however - i now feel I am doing everything in my power available to make me as good a trader as I can be for now and thats about all I can do really !!
I am happy to come back in a few months and let you know how it goes and whether it helps with day / swing trading ??
after all knowledge is power - not that we want to be powerful as such but it nice to be enriched (not just with money)!!
