yes.. the chinese played funny buggers through the season closing borders and such otherwise we would possibly seen mid $40's.
it sounds like a lot but if you have to lease pots to get enough quota you need about $33-$35 to break even.
when the price dropped to $25 just before xmas i stopped working other people i know just kept going and av.price for them was $30 ish. i worked more days and had higher expenses but the boat turned over another 100K or so.
had to make every post a winner with the court experience hanging over my head.
just remember lobster lovers when your eating cheap lobsters i'm probably going broke or sitting on my lazy bum...
