Hi Col, You never know with politicians but I wouldn't be expecting Labour to be giving too much protection to the big 2 miners who are making huge profits. Probably fits more with their principles to allow access for all.

Agree with AP though, it certainly will strengthen our hand in any negotiations, would be dangerous signing a MGS now. You'd hate to sign away years of potential profits only to find that 3rd party access is then granted.

Might push the majors to look at taking out some juniors that had large tonnage they wanted to move on their rail systems though!
