"Medcan's poor performance cost CGB shareholders money it seems."

The truth of that suggestion will be determined by the court.

On the face of it, Medcan were only the conduit (importer) for the Instacann pills from Canntab.
A payment of $406,000 (CAD or AUD, not sure) was made to Canntab for the pill order.
    Canntab had manufacturing efficiency problems.
Medcan were paid according to contract for the 1st two yrs for their service.
After that initial 2yr contract, either side could terminate with one month's notice.

So the court will be looking at what blame can be placed on Medcan for 'poor service'.
If the fault were to lie at Canntab's manufacturing processes, then all Medcan could do would be to hassle them.
However, Medcan weren't the customer - CGB were.
Therefore, wouldn't it make more sense for CGB to follow up on any delay to the invoiced items/pills ?

Even Sholom could have been following that up from his new HQ on MARS
