fair call, but costs are one thing and winning a complicated case is another. given the value of the asset at stake, whoever wins, there could be appeals etc and that is provided that it goes straight to court without various attempts by mmx to have it dismissed on some ground or another before the case is heard. these things can drag on for years. lawyers are very expensive and it is in their interest to drag out the case on any number of distracting motions. given the total amount of security for costs being provided (which will only be enough to cover the definite known and knowable costs) my estimate is not unreasonable (but I acknowledge it is a wild @rse guess)
