IMO..... We need vietnam results this week before court case. the reason being is that the market is only focused on the solomons and until that is done dusted or buried the sp will only move on the issue.but with a positive vietnam result in the lead up to the court case along with fresh buying in anticipation of winning, the news will add a couple of pips
vietnam's first major annoucement on the size of the gold find did nothing for the sp as the market was/is transfixed on the solomons.
if the vietnam news comes after an appeal loss it will add no value to the sp as the market will be transfixed on a trial date and outcome and the sp will fall accordingly.if it comes after winning the appeal it would be hard to see the lift in the sp as it would be rolling on from the win-----hopefully 10c
