Today is a directions hearing - in layman's terms it is a legal process whereby the matter is discussed and considered before a Judge who then makes a direction regarding the matter. This could range from anything including that the matter is resolved to the parties satisfaction and orders are made or that the matter is directed to Alternative Dispute Resolution or a trial. Without having seen the pleadings I would not like to make a call on what the Judge will direct but it is very possible that this is a positive move and that the parties have come to an agreement and are actually seeking orders. This is IMO only and it will be interesting to see what the outcome actually is.
