I have tried to trade options a number of times but have never really been successful.

1. Too slow to get in and get out. The market will run away from you in the up to 1 hour it takes to place a trade.

2. Spreads are too large compared with warrants.

3. i have tried complex strategies but have been massacred by the brokerage. which tends to be about $250 each way.

All in all, too clumsy and cumbersome for someone who likes to get in and out on a dime for minimum cost.
