I suppose you saw my monthend XJO close of 5602 as a chance.

ALthough I can see a top timeframe all the way from 22/12/06 into 02/101/07 and maybe even a week longer, it is hard to envisage a hard downturn till Jan.

Even then mid Jan usually provides a bounce. Hard to see us getting through the first quarter of next year without a sizable correction starting. Although long I am regarding all advances past early Jan as the bigger they are the harder they fall.

The last fall (2000 - 2002) or (2002 - 2003) was slowish. The financial scene is growing more perilous by the day so the next one maybe a quicky I feel with an intervention that may produce a weak rally before the rot sets in.

I love to prognosticate but the indicators tell the story.
