Manhattan project, MJ-12, OSRD & MIT all come to mind within the realm of secrecy, possibly Covid-19 could be added for those that choose to see beyond a general outbreak of a new strain of 'the flu' and relate it to either population control or an attack on the world financial position to dominate and subdue.
All speculation of course with zero solid proof but worthy of consideration.
Lets for a moment try and work out how a 95% success rate at suppressing Covid on multiple occasions was chosen to be silenced by the mainstream media but the cute, fluffy llamas managed to briefly take centre stage!
I say skip the lab, fill the gobs of Corona virus carriers with Monepantel and see what happens. Stuff the red tape and beauracracy and proceed with whats proven to not be rejected by the human body.
