Sorry but it's not from the US but a study done in Germany. It may give you some idea of the ratio.

I found that study and I have some good metrics from other studies.

The main issue is that they aren't tracking numbers of people going into ICUs each day and the numbers coming out of ICUs each day at a country or state level). Also the fatality statistics would be complicated by people that don't die in the ICU (they also may no necessarily have ARDS but could still have COVID-19).
