You do understand social distancing measures put in place massively reduce the spread of other things like the flu, whooping cough, chicken pox etc.
From pretty much day 1 of controls being introduced it was discussed that this would also have a positive influence on reducing the general flu season. I had the flu still in late feb it was actually pretty bad too. So bad that I got tested for covid but came back negative.
