The breath tester will be a specialised, dedicated piece of hardware that most people won't own at home. That means they will have to go to a clinic to get tested. Testing conditions will need to be made safe by either capturing and filtering the waste breath or expelling it, otherwise you will have a room full of unfiltered expelled air.

The Resapp offering (presuming one emerges from the training exercise) will use a piece of equipment that most people already own, which can be used in their own home.

I see plenty of scope for both products to coexist.
