It kooks very promising, but still doesnt help me make the logical leap to where i want to be.

From a physiological point of view. The tests were conducted at day 7+ is my understanding. I would say that this is great for established viruses in the lower resp tract where we might see an architectual change on the lungs that would also produce an audible difference.

But with omicron, we know that is resids more in the nose and pharynx.

I'd be all in of we had updated data, post 2020, that shows its ability to distiguish audible differences that might be subjected to changes from the nose and throat.

if this comes through, then it shows an AI with adaptavility, to differentiate with audible sounds as we might expect with new variants and their changes throughout the resp tract. Maybe vocal resonance could pick this up?
