The US is not only over run with COVID, but also a significant case of grand psychosis.
We only need to look to the incongruous attempt of Texas attempting to overturn the voting rights of 4 other states, something that is diametrically opposed to traditional Republican conservative values (no big government or interference in other states business), to get a sense of how acute and on the edge the country is.
