Apologies in advance for my ignorance but does anyone more knowledgeable than myself on the subject matter see potential for the FebriDx point of care test device to support COVID-19 screening?
I see that FebriDx tests to diagnose febrile acute respiratory infections (ARI) and can distinguish viral from bacterial infections but nothing further / specific to COVID-19. I have no doubt that establishing a COVID-19 point of care testing capability would be on the receiving end of some interest by the company at present.
This could prove to be a very timely Medtech IPO.
