Used to own a few veterinary clinics - we brought and upgraded a few digital x-ray machines..... we charge per scan to the pet owners, like all other imaging centres.... the hardware was all paid for upfront or financed, and software were on a subscription with free upgrade and training etc.
So for the XVD Scanner, I would assume and hardware will be financed for the hospital/clinic and the XV LVAS Saas will be charged accordingly...
