No, hospital dont pay the manufacturer per scan usage of their device, its a one off purchase price with some support fee, then with software its up to the hospital, eg. subscription to PME, Visage (which by way I had my MRI/CT and XRay done at St Vincent (Syd) with my recent neck surgery, I get access to all the written result and certain scan image on my phone app which is white labelled by St Vincent - what a brilliant software, as they no longer give out those CD's).. so the only other costs for hospital are your variable running costs, nurse, radiologist, rent, etc. I really hope, i-med commercial contract is sealed by end of 2021 or early 2022!, as it could tap into PME Visage 'easily' and show the way to other imaging diagnostic companies what you are missing out....
