That is great. What a luxury hen palace you have We had 1000 chooks free range on our farm in England. We used lots of old caravans to house them. Nestboxes were fitted in and perching rods.
Our local council were very anal and wherever fussy. Because these caravans were transportable of course, they couldn’t do much about it regarding their planning laws. They were in a very large paddock and out all day. Therefore the yolks were really golden. We had someone to shut the doors, once they had gone to bed.
Nonetheless we always lost several to foxes during the day. I used to joke, that there was a big sign. chickens this way.
