What it does indicate is that there are higher forces at play than the government, prime minister or politicians.
It's in Australia's best interests, and our populations, to have a Royal Commission, so that does tend to suggest political interference. There is NO way a patriotic politician truly dedicated to public duty could reject such a proposal.
