    Ah, many people like to think they're tough in the face of adversity, but when push comes to shove they fall in line. Especially when their family and friends are encouraged to emotionally blackmail them for siding with crackpot conspiracy theorists. If people don't want to comply any more, at least they can be intimidated into not being open about for fear of being labelled crazy.
