Whilst the condition of people's mouths in the pictures you posted are somewhat undesirable even with smiles on their faces - the persons still have some teeth. Statistically many people have issues with teeth or lack of - despite fluoridation:

2.2% of adults between the ages of 20 to 64 are completely toothless.
If one wants a comfortable life then one could sink their teeth into becoming a dentist or dental specialist - sure to have many bites at one's door - more than any fisherman casting a line - and no patient coercion required - tooth pain will be enough.
