From an administrative viewpoint of government the premier is of course correct, otherwise it will hinder progress. However, the public deserves some level of compensation, if only by naming and shaming the perpetrators of the injustice and on what flimsy basis they enacted mandates based on nothing other then whim and the lust for power. Harming people must be shown to have consequences to both reputation and standing in the community, so they can never repeat their diabolical aspirations!
