Take care of yourself then. My mother had COPD (Emphysema) which brought about a premature end to her life at 63.
She lived next door and basically the whole last year she didn't leave the house and I cared for her while trying to work full time and raise 2 kids. We moved in full time in the last months and allowed her to died at home.
