This could well and truly be the answer to most of our viral problems. A simple amino acid called Lysine used to prevent occurring bouts of cold sores! The Herpes Simplex virus like all viruses which are just bits of protein require certain amino acids for their construction and replication. The amino acid Arginine is one such ingredient required for Herpes. By taking Lysine supplements the Lysine inhibits Arginine and that is how Lysine reduces the incidence of cold sore outbreaks.

I proposed this simple remedy 10 months ago. Since taking Lysine on a regular basis I haven't had a sniffle or a cold and yet my other half has had some chronic bouts of colds and yes we do live together!!!
