This and similar anti-vaxxer arguments doing the rounds really make little sense because natural immunity only happens after you get infected with the virus so what exactly is it trying to promote? That one should risk the potential of severe illness, hospitalization or death, or one of the many other serious long term health complications whilst unvaccinated and without protection by simply getting covid in order to gain some immunity from getting it again? Crazy stuff, then of cause, sooner or later one will also have to address the elephant in the room... What if evidence suggests that the Omicron variant is associated with substantial ability to evade immunity from prior infection? Damn it, back to square one, and still just another unvaccinated burden of risk on our healthcare system.
Vaccines save lives and after clean water and sanitation are probably responsible for saving and extending the life of more people over the past 150 years than any other technology.
