It may give you a few years of peace living isolated like that. But unless "good" can win this current war then being self sufficient is only a short term solution. Council can legally remove you from your property for (X) reasons right now. Say you are raising chickens and "someone" reports you for "animal abuse", potential jail time now. Lawsuits, etc. Can't pay the rates, property auctioned off. And I'm sure with the new COVID laws they can do even more nefarious stuff to people "legally". Is it moral? Of course not but this is the world we live in.

If you want to be free for the rest of your life there is no other option right now than fight the evil. Don't run.
