I don't think there would be many vaccine and covid naive people left to do a meaningful study.
I think the Kaiser Permanente study of Delta versus Omicron both in vaccinated and unvaccinated people is the best we have. Would welcome some other study that you've come across. The good news is it shows that the Omicron death rate is only 9% of that with Delta. That's got to be good news for the entire population.
