The official clinical trial was unblinded 2 months post is initiation with a poor outcome, unfortunately unless the current vaccination rollout includes people who've been given placebo then there is no real control group to compare anything against. I actually think that some people must be getting a placebo injection, my wife recounted her experience at the vaccination centre, the nurse asked her to choose which injection she would like to receive, each needle has a barcode which they attempted to scan, she went through 3 before one would successfully scan to the database. My gut feeling is that the nurse wanted the decision left to chance rather than she make make it.
