So we see a steady increase in the death rate. From 2010 to 2019, the rate per 100,000 went up by 72 (798 to 870). This is probably largely unknown.
The increase by 8 deaths per 100,000 last year is apparently a cause for widespread panic, yet the increase by 20 deaths per 100,000 between 2014 to 2015 caused not one ripple.
