This happened in Darwin last week. A lady's 92yo mother had a fall and went to hospital and was put in isolation because she tested a weak positive (whatever that means). The daughter asked to see her mother and was told "only someone who has had covid in the last 4-5 weeks could see her". The daughter responded "but I'm triple vaxxed". The nurse responded "it doesn't matter, you can still catch and transmit covid". The daughter responded "so what was the point of getting vaxxed". The nurse responded "it is hospital policy" and walked away. WTF.
