Yeh, thats me. She has full recovered. Tested negative on day 7, but was still confined to her room for another three days.
Info is hard to find, but shes cunning. 12 on a ward of 16 came down with it, and most of her peers are dementia affected, many more frail than her, yet none required hospitalization. She had a 5 day course of molnupiravir (Lagevrio) (dont know what the others got but expect similar). All Omicron, described to her as mild. Did it work/help? I doubt we will ever know in the current atmosphere. Its said to be 30-35% efficacious. And I'm glad they tried and did their best.
But she says she not having a fourth shot, she knows she doesn't need it.
We both know we probably wont see each other again. Sad, just sad.
