Apparently if you happen to catch the Monkeypox in a backwater village in Africa with no proper medical support the death rate is about 10%.

Apparently this current strain is not as horrible and the projections for people in an affluent country with good medical services the death rate is about 1%.

Of course these number’s won’t be set in concrete but I’m sure they would want to be over cautious just in case they’ve got the mix correct, this time
