How about the 'Pollies' do their part'? And give back all the money they were paid over the past few years whilst many others had to scrape by due to businesses/society being shut down?

I did not see ONE politician display any sign of empathy/sympathy towards the general public (one would only need to watch their faces and body language during a press release to realise that) during the past 2.5 years. They all got a guaranteed income, yet felt they knew what was in the best interests of those they are meant to represent??

'Do your part' is a kindergarten slogan so young children fall into line and don't go apesh!t. It is not a suitable request towards young and mature adults, who deserve much better respect, and would respond far better to a realistic approach.

Treat people as adults, and lay out all of the options on the table, and you would be surprised how reasonable people can be. If not, be prepared for many to fall back on their instincts/intuition and not comply.
