In Australia there has been a spike in people drowning, I guess some people forgot how to swim during lockdown.
You also have the floods, caused by climate change, the floods are probably responsible for some more deaths than usual.

It is the highest drowning figure since 1995-6
1995-=342 deaths from drowning
2021-22= 339 deaths
However, you have to factor in the population increase.
