    Unfortunately, I wouldn't be too sure of that. I routinely scare myself by the outputs some of my machines create. I'm in a loop, I build and program the machine, I learn from the machine, then I build a better machine, ... rinse repeat. For the past few decades I've added in bioengineering on myself, so not only are my machines getting more capable, but so am I. And we are learning from each other.

    I quite deliberately limit my AI's to very specific areas (e.g. arts, bioinformatics) and they are normally not connected to the internet. Occasional internet connections are only for some updates, and those are doubly supervised (I watch the AI and a person watches me, ready to pull the plug at the sign of any anomaly). The AI's are all Linux clusters with many thousands of cores.
