When I read such headlines about dying suddenly, doctors baffled, unknown causes, doctors puzzled etc etc I start to wonder about the integrity of our medical practitioners. No, not the integrity of how they are practicing but the integrity of the knowledge they acquire via the universities. This is a damning indictment of base and core knowledge being taught if our doctors are unable to even diagnose the most basic of symptoms and prevent long term illnesses and potential death of their patients. Must be quite easy to get a medical degree these days, even someone in their late 80's could i suspect become a practicing doctor without too much trouble and just resort to "I'm puzzled, I don't know, died suddenly, I'm baffled" as a first line of defence in diagnosis and subsequent death. To bring some integrity back to medical practitioners I recommend they start with "truth telling" seems to be a catchy phrase of late.
