Not sure if I like that idea of one has to suffer so others can be happy

When I was little and in Sunday School ................. I was told that Jesus died for "our" or "my" sins.
I got to thinking about that idea and thought ...................... hang on, what if I have to suffer for my brothers' and sister's sins???
I didn't like that idea and thought........................ Hmmm since Jesus has been scarce on the ground for a couple of thousand years and hasn't been taking the wrap for others, then "I might have to do the time for my siblings crime".
I'm not a big fan of paying the price for someone else's misdeeds.
