Yes music today is just another example of the decay and de-evolution we as a society are going through.
Why do you think old fart rockers are still touring if they can and getting paid mega bucks to do it?
Because there’s nothing to replace it with. The 70’s 80’s and 90’s were the peak of music in my opinion. All down hill since then. Compare the absolute tripe current “bands” shart out to Led Zep , Pink Floyd , AC/DC and if you like metal like me Metallica , Megadeth, Black Sabbath , Slayer the list goes on and on.
Even most current metal while being technically fast and proficient doesn’t really have the X factor. They just can’t seem to write excellent music or lyrics anymore.
